The album is the second part of a series presenting forgotten Polish miniatures for violin and piano. The repertoire of the album consists of six romances (Aleksander Zarzycki, Adam Andrzejowski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Henryk Wieniawski, Aleksander Tansman, Karol Szymanowski) and five songs (by Paderewski, Wieniawski, Noskowski and Szymanowski), which are united by deep expression and a great emotional charge, although at the same time, in each of these miniatures you can hear the individual idiom of the creative expression of individual authors. This is complemented by humorous burlesques (by Andrzejowski, Artur Malawski and Romuald Twardowski), creating space for the musicians' virtuoso performances.

The originator of the series, renowned violinist Sławomir Tomasik, invited outstanding pianists: Robert Morawski and Krzysztof Stanienda. Registration was made by Małgorzata and Igor Szymański. The album was co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund under the "Muzyczny Trace" program implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance. The co-publisher of the album is the Skrzypce Foundation. Tadeusz Wroński.
