Bill Kaffenberger, Steve Antonacci - The Best of Kaffenberger and Antonacci (2011)

Steve Antonacci and Bill Kaffenberger first met as students at Virginia Commonwealth University. Their shared love of the music of The Byrds, The Buffalo Springfield and Neil Young led them to form a folk rock and country rock due. In an era when much of Contemporary Christian Music was following the lowest musical common denominator, Steve and Bill recorded two LPs, SOMEONE GREATER and PILGRIM, that explored folk rock and country music in a Christian setting. Recently, the master tapes were cleaned and the original tracks rescued by Bill McElroy at Slipped Disc Audio in Ashland, VA and digitized. Fourteen of those tracks plus one bonus track have been issued in remixed and remastered form as "The Best of Kaffenberger and Antonacci".
