The Texas Terraplanes are a one of a kind,uniquely original, professional guitar based band that plays a blend of Rock'n Blues, Classic Rock and Rockabilly. The band sounds like a hot steam'n plate of tasty Texas BBQ ribs and brisket w/ a side of homemade gumbo finished with a hot fudge chocolate brownie. * Band members Paul Johnson has performed with The Catalysts, Phoenix, PJ Band, PJ & Freedom, Randy Marshall, Jimmy Lee Huff, Lanier Greig, Tommy Dar Dar & The Sheetrockers. Sam Massey has performed with Allen Haynes, Keith Ferguson and Tony Vega Band. Roye Rushing was in Rusty Wier's group, studied jazz and music theory at Berkley, performed with Carlton Pride, Roye is on the Texas Terraplane's live album "Voodoo Mama" and played in the band back in the Houston area days.
