Carlos Falanga - Gran Coral (2015)

Great Coral is the title of the debut album as leader of drummer Carlos Falanga. Argentine established in Barcelona, is one of the most requested drummers of the Barcelona scene as well as the Spanish state, having taken different tours throughout the rest of Europe.

For this new project he collaborates with four well-known musicians such as Jordi Matas on guitar (who also mixes and masters the album), Marco Mequida on Piano, and Jaume Llombart on electric bass. The album is composed of interesting Falanga compositions, in search of melodies and well-intermingled rhythms, and at the same time an own sound taking a step further in its aesthetic approach. It also includes a review of the Great Coral theme by Igor Stravinsky which gives the album title.
