Brother-sister duo Chad & Morgan D. Carson grew up playing and writing American music. They still play and write American music. It is 2015 in America.

Hoping that people would want new music in the 20-teens, they formed The Kid Carsons in 2012 to realign the fabric of space-time with their vision of folk expression. As of yet, they have been unable to articulate a text message with all the shade and sentiment of a tear-stained letter, but The Kid Carsons’ sound is one to resonate with the 21st century heart.

Chad and Morgan are joined by lifetime friend and musical accomplice David Hart on keys and banjo, and together, they plan to make as many records as possible. Along with pedal steel heartthrob Derek Duplessie, and David Shirley on drums they're working on their 1st LP, and riding around a lot in a van.

When they get out of the van, they perform with people like W.B. Givens, Sons of Bill, Toy Soldiers, Shovels & Rope, Jonny Fritz, Banditos, Andrew Combs, Juston Stens and the Get Real Gang, The Steep Canyon Rangers, The Little Country Giants, Jordan Hull, The Wheeler Brothers, & Cale Tyson. The Kid Carsons live in New Orleans. The van’s name is Evangeline.
