Tonbe - Original Tool EP (2016)

Fans of Serbia's Milos Djordjevic (aka Tonbe) can rejoice in the knowledge that he appears to have reverted to much larger releases again (he was just delivering or two track singles for a while). Here he rustles up no less than seven new funky jams for our dancing feet. The overall mood is that of early 80s space boogie with highlights including the Pollard Syndrum-drenched retro grooviness of "Saturday", the dirty punk-funk bass of the raw and lean "Explore Your Fantasy" and the filtered electro-funk fun of "Give Me All".
