Lux Experience - Street Disco EP (2016)

Despite hailing from modern day Norway, Lux Experience's heart remains firmly in the USA during the heady days of the 1970s. Nothing wrong with that as nothing really tops the thrill of the original disco explosion during that wild decade. Here he unearths four more long gems from that time and retweaks them for contemporary dancefloors. "Street Disco" is and accelerated proto-hiHRG opener, "Your Luv" begins as classic French Touch-style diva loops before expanding into more stripped backed boogie and "Freak Mouse" is a bass driven chant-along. Lastly "Prance With Me" wraps things up with some seriously elastic party vibes.
