Massive mod tunes from the UK scene of the 60s -- a heavy helping of rare singles, and one of the coolest mod collections we've ever seen! This one goes way past the familiar hits and nostalgic twinges of other mod sets -- and it really digs deep to come up with a host of under-reissued numbers and rare rocking gems -- really great work we wouldn't have heard otherwise, presented with notes on each of the bands included. The set's a bit of an odd one for Acid Jazz -- who don't normally do vintage rock material like this -- but it's a great step in this direction, and we hope we'll soon be hearing more.
