Premium sounds from the duo of Sam Ray Mosley and Robert Johnson – a pair who sound wonderful here on an album of well-chosen mellow tracks and ballads! The set's maybe the best the team ever recorded – modern in execution, but with lots of southern soul roots in the vocals – and a set of tunes that are mostly easygoing and never forced, which really seems to suit the duo well.
