Stewy Von Wattenwyl - Vol D'automne (2022)

After years in various formations, Alex Hendriksen and Stewy von Wattenwyl have reduced to the maximum: DuoLog means dialogue, i.e. listening and speaking, whereby speaking can also be a whisper or a shout. In no other formation is communication better possible than face-to-face, so to speak, one-on-one. This requires musical maturity and openness towards the partner - Alex and Stewy are capable of this. Their discussions are fascinating, regardless of whether the topic of conversation is a rich original composition, a pearl from the Great American Songbook or a pop song. Always melodic, always exciting, always with a lot of taste. Now there is a recording, “Vol D’Automne”, which impressively documents the musical depth of this small formation and will be christened this evening in the BeJazz Club.
