"If you get lost” is our second EP, produced and recorded by Paolo Baldini DubFiles at Alambic Conspiracy Studio. The new work has reached its final stages and has been shaped through a series of individual releases that progressively formed the complete structure we aim to bring to light. Accompanied by visual support in the form of a pattern, this deliberate choice revolves around a pressing contemporary theme: to understand how can the era of increasingly advanced technology, particularly artificial intelligence, coexist with the themes of the past and tradition, keeping them alive not only in form but also in spirit.
Warm colors, reminiscent of the group’s musical roots, take on new forms and integrate into a context that, while replicating the standardization of serial production, manages to evoke pleasant aesthetic sensations by riding the wave of renewal and bridging tradition and modernity. We see technology and the future as opportunities to reaffirm the themes dear to us, provided their use remains under the strict control of conscientious and sensitive minds. This concept is endangered by a system that unscrupulously allows commercial interests to dominate, reducing even the most authentic and profound forms of expression to mere spectacle.
