This is the culmination of Schubert, one of Böhm's most important composers、
In 1979, the world's first SA-CD.New mastering in the home country from the original analog master

Karl Böhm has a strong connection with Schubert, with Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and R.Along with Strauss, he was a lifelong composer. After a full symphony with the Berlin Philharmonic and a few songs with the Vienna Philharmonic (and a live performance when he came to Japan in '75), Boehm's last live performance of "The Great" in 1979 was the last Schubert recording. As for "Great" itself, there was also a scene of rehearsal with another orchestra, and it was a very interesting scene that Böhm's attitude towards music appeared as if it was a real thing.
This recording of Boehm at the age of 84 is recorded on the 1st live, and it seems that it was released in a hurry. This performance was released as a memorial edition after Boehm's death, along with the ninth digital recording with the Vienna Philharmonic (now on sale in PROC1992) in Japan in the 81st 12 months of the year.Among Böhm's DG's "Great", the performance time is the shortest, and it is characterized by a hot performance as if it is reminiscent of a live in the middle age, and it is full of impetus. The fact that it was a performance with Dresden・Staatskapele, which had a deep connection since before the war, also seems to be connected to this performance effect. This disc had been re-released in the domestic disc several times during the CD era, but the frequency of release of imported disc was low for some reason. This sound source at the end of the analog recording was perfect for reprinting on SA-CD, and the live performance made it possible to feel the atmosphere of the venue, the uplifting feeling that boehm and orchestra became one, and the sharp conducting swing closer. Please enjoy the live of the whole body of Boehm's last years with the latest reprint in 2017 that does not make you feel age.
The original analog master tape was physically maintained and restored, digitized (PCM) in high・quality (192/24), and dedicated label engineers in the home country took the time to master the series in a meticulous process. In the SA-CD layer, you can enjoy high-definition master sound.Since the CD layer has also been digitized and mastered the latest in 2017, it is different from the sound quality of the previous record.
In this series, we adopted the original jacket design and published a new preface commentary by Daisuke Hirose. This "Vintage SA-CD Collection" No. 7 will release a total of 3 titles.
