The Toreros, hailing from Hilversum, were one of Goya's most successful guitar bands. The group was formed just out of high school on October 1, 1960, and initially operated under different names, such as Peter and His Dynamites and (Peter Welch and) The Flying Arrows. The original lineup consisted of:
