Aqua-Wreck - Facade (2024) [Hi-Res]

Aqua-Wreck is a progressive rock band formed in 2010 in Rauma, Finland. Its members are Totti Kaarle (vocals, trumpet, percussion), Taavi Heikkil� (saxophones, clarinet, keyboards), Lauripekka Muurinen (guitars, flute), Kalle Korkeam�ki (bass, percussion) and Tatu Tyykil� (drums, percussion).

Within the music of Aqua-Wreck, the obvious influences of the 70's major prog bands such as King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator, Gentle Giant, ELP and Genesis can be heard, even if the three composers, Korkeam�ki, Kaarle and Heikkil�, each have their own personal takes on the genre: peculiar, powerful and elegant, respectively. The vintage eclectic prog style also contains elements from jazz, funk and game music. The impact of Peter Hammill can not be downplayed for Kaarle's lyrics and vocal flexibility.
