At times moody and emotional, at times downright eerie, mysterious, and slightly subversive, Pleasure People is both difficult to categorize and immediately recognizable due to Nick's unusual guitar tunings and the use of instruments as varied as cello, mandolin, banjo, banjolele , bass, and drums.
