Full Intention and Hustlers Convention man Michael Gray set up Sultra as an outlet for his own house and disco productions in 2018 and now here comes the label's first full-length release, which features 13 tracks recorded with no fewer than eight different guest vocalists, not counting the Sultra Gospel Singers. There are no big musical surprises on offer, admittedly, especially given that four of the tracks have already had single releases: good-time vocal disco-house is what you get thoughout. But it's now over 30 years since those early Hustlers Convention releases: Gray's been making this kind of tackle longer than most, and that experience shows. A soulful/disco house lover's delight.
