Mozart died before finishing his requiem, so the Queen's cartoonists are ready to finish the job! Mozart's "Jazz Requiem" is a jazz tribute to one of the greatest works ever written. The whole piece was recomposed in the style of Raymond Scott and John Kirby, with a touch of modern jazz.
Using Mozart's famous sense of humor as a guide, the band presents an extremely original look at Vienna's greatest export work.
We go through Dies irae and reflect on Hostias. All original themes are present, as well as much more.
This is a tremulous but bizarre modernization of Mozart's greatest work!
