Cookin' on 3 Burners - Blind Bet (2014)

Cookin On 3 Burners are a sizzling Aussie hammond organ trio. They've been away for a while but have recently been hyping up this, their sixth album. A two-track teaser featuring the talents of Kylie Auldist and Daniel Merriweather recently snuck out, and now here on "Blind Bet" we get these plus a further nine songs including infectious funk jam of "Skeletor", the bluesy "Flat On My Back", which features the gravel voice of Tex Perkins" and the urgent, orchestrated thrust of the title track. Worth the wait!
