Cathrine Legardh - Gorgeous Creature (2008)

The young talented vocalist Cathrine Legardh is releasing her first jazz CD on Storyville. She is a young fragile woman with a big voice like 'one of the red hot mamas'. She has chosen tunes from the American songbook among others: "For All We Know", "My Ideal" and "I'll Be Seeing You". She also sings "Once Upon A Summertime" - Monica Zetterlund's big success and she salutes Charlie Parkjer with "Confimation" and "Now's The Time".

Cathrine is accompanied by award winning Scottish pianist Brian Kellock, Jacob Fischer on guitar and Hugo Rasmussen on bass. Furthermore Tom McEwan plays on washboard on one track and Francesco Cali on accordion on two tracks. Cathrine is touring in connection with the release with this set up and during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival you will also be able to hear Cathrine on various venues.
