In November 2011, the 35th anniversary of their debut, Moon Riders announced an indefinite hiatus. After that, it was revived for one night only in 2013, which was the first anniversary of member Tetsuro Kashibuchi's death. Furthermore, in 2016, the 40th anniversary, they announced a "hiatus" for a limited time, and after performing at summer festivals and touring live houses, they went on a "hiatus" again. Four years have passed since then. In August 2020, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of the album "Camera = Fountain Pen", they suddenly surprised fans by holding a live performance without an audience. Subsequently, in October 2020, they held their first live performance in four years with an audience at Nakano Sun Plaza, marking a "pause of activity" or a de facto "resumption of activity." Moonriders has been actively promoting their activities, and it has been decided that "moonriders live THE COLD MOON" will be held at Tokyo Ebisu Garden Hall on December 25th (Saturday) and December 26th (Sunday) this Christmas. continues to be active.
