It's important to mention that Bebel Gilberto is the daughter of veteran bossa nova crooner Joao Gilberto, whose work literally created the bossa nova genre, and at the same time brought then-wife Astrud Gilberto to the attention of America. This is an enthusiastic and lively recording that features the work of Mario Caldato, Jr., Peter Kruder, Rae & Christian, and many others.
