As a result of a sincere spiritual quest, this album draws its inspiration from varied experiences such as Sufi rituals, Voodoo, and Amazonian Shamanic ceremonies, which all converge towards a universal and cosmic truth. Nessym also nourishes his inspiration in the metaphysical philosophy of philosophers such as Plato, Rumi, Spinoza, Schopenhauer, Jung and René Guénon, whose writings have illuminated his own spiritual journey, and in particular their outstanding ability to put into words what he has intuited himself.
