Nach ihrer gefeierten Mixtape-Serie auf Signum Classics ist Earthcycle das fünfte Album von Orchestra of the Swan und David Le Page. Earthcycle ist ein innovatives und zeitgemäßes Projekt, das einen überzeugenden Weg findet, mit der dringendsten Bedrohung der Menschheit umzugehen.
In drei ersten Aufführungen, einer Aufnahme und einem Film, denkt Earthcycle über unsere Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt der Erde und die Störung ihrer natürlichen Rhythmen nach.
Um den 300. Jahrestag von Vivaldis Vier Jahreszeiten zu feiern, haben sie bei unserem Associate Artist, dem Barock-/Jazzmusiker und Komponisten David Gordon, eine neue Version in Auftrag gegeben, die mit traditionellen Volksliedern zum Thema der Jahreszeiten durchsetzt ist und von der Sängerin Jackie Oates aufgeführt wird.
Earthcycle beleuchtet das größte Anliegen des 21. Jahrhunderts und feiert gleichzeitig die Natur und unseren Platz darin.
