Alexis Le Tan and Joakim back at it again with the third in their Knowhere themed series of chopped and screwed sessions for Good Morning Tapes, this time oozing into a selection of slow burners played at 33-not-45, designed to simmer the dance over 90 minutes of supremely seductive tension-building.

Landing somewhere between the shimmer and sway of Parisian glamour and the heady chug of Belgian new beat, there’s just no denying the formula; take the essence of euphoric dance music, slow the tempo, ooze out the inherent sexiness, add some hooks, you just can’t say no.

If you’re new to their thing, we’ll wager you’ll fast get a taste for the tang, and especially if you have a thing for psychedelic lushness in the dance, the sort of narcotic sweetspot that lands at the intersection of London Street Soul, Goan risers, classic chill-out and the kinda thing Vladimir Ivkovic has made his own in recent years. In fact, we’d say 'Further Knowhere' is the best version of this sound yet, benefiting from the slow arc with over an hour and a half of highly hypnotic gear that slowly gets under the skin.
