The trio Gunde On Garner has existed since 1995, and their dedicated goal is to play in Garner's spirit, but based on their own arrangements of both Danish and foreign songs. And yet, with Henrik Gunde, one of the country's busiest jazz musicians at the helm, they also largely have their own take on things, carried forward by the swinging and energetic play of Nicolas Kock and Karsten Bagge. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Garner's birth, Gunde On Garner can be found on stages throughout the country 2021 with a special anniversary show that both pays tribute to Garner's special characteristic swing and style and at the same t me surprises with the choice of songs and an extroverted joy of playing that takes the music to heart new place to go.
