The 81-year-old actress said that she is too lazy to shoot. The golden-throated actress, who has been married to James Brolin since 1998, revealed that she has no plans to shoot another film in the near future. He hasn't acted in a movie in more than a decade, but fans were still hoping that he would make a big comeback. However, he recently said that filming is already too tiring for him.

She experienced it as a failure and was very tired when, more than ten years ago, she had to fight for the filming rights of the musical Gypsy, in which she would have played Rose, the striptease dancer. But Streisand also said that if she had always had free rein to make movies, she would never have written a book, as she did with My Name is Barbra. The long-awaited memoir was published in early November.

Streisand fought for the realization of several films, including the sequel to the classic 1973 We Were There, in which she played a romantic couple with Robert Redford. Recently, she stated on The Howard Stern Show that the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical, Gypsy, was also a problem because Sondheim did not allow her to be the main character and director of the film, because he thought it would have been too difficult for the actress.

Streisand's first role was in 1968's Funny Girl, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. But, of course, we also know him from Hello Dolly, My Mirror, My Mirror, The Star Is Born or The Prince of Waves.

Why have I only made 19 films in my life? I wanted to shoot many films, but I just got lazy. Plus, he said, there's so much to do on a movie set, you have to have all the period clothing or maybe you have to live in Arkansas for the shoot, so "it's complicated, but I'm complicated and I'm lazy."

But fans love this complicated Barbra Streisand, who chose freedom rather than a lot of work.
