The Southern River Band - Live from Rada Studios (2022)

The Southern River Band has well-earned its reputation as the future of modern Australian Rock ‘n’ Roll. Between electrifying passion in their nationally touring live show, a 2022 W.A.M. Rock Band of the Year award, and has supported major acts like The Darkness, Grinspoon, Wolfmother, Amyl and the Sniffers, as well as performing at festivals such as Groovin The Moo and Splendour XR.

The loveable larrikin personalities and perfectly crafted songs, are broadcast again this week in the release of their latest single Streets Don’t Lie.

A song about the unraveling futures of old school mate rascals, they pack their signature sound into a riffed-out, diesel-soaked single. Featuring strutting guitar riffs and vocals that ooze swagger, this latest single serves everything that fans have come to expect.

“Do you ever wonder what happened to the people you went to school with that were, ah… ‘disciplinarily challenged’? The Streets Don’t Lie was recorded in their hometown at RADA Studios. The track was mixed by Dan Carroll (Carla Geneve, Spacey Jane, Grievous Bodily Calm) & mastered by Grammy Award-winning Australian sound engineer William Bowden (Gotye, Spacey Jane, Kylie Minogue) at King Willy Sound.

The Southern River Band will be touring the country once again in support of The Streets Don’t Lie arriving in Sydney to play The Vanguard 8 June 2023.
