Player s new album is an exciting event in the West Coast AOR music scene. The band scored a #1 Billboard hit in 1978 with the timeless song "Baby Come Back". The band released 4 albums before disbanding in 1982. A reunion happened in 1997, but the band started performing again on a regular basis in 2003 with original members Peter Beckett (highly rated songwriter for Heart, Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Rodgers, The Temptations, Poco, Janet Jackson, The Commodores, Cliff Richards, Survivor and Grace Slick, among others) on guitar and vocals and Ronn Moss (who became a very well known actor in the soap opera "The Bold and The Beautiful") on bass and vocals. The new album is full of lush and melodic songs which range from the rocking approach of "Man on Fire" to the more melodic and mature approach of "My Addiction" and the new video / single "I Will".
