with a first and second degree in music performance from the “Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem”, where he also taught an Oud performance for seven years, as well as in the “Edward Said National Conservatory of Music”. From 2018 he Has a PhD degree from “Bar Ilan University”. He currently teach Oud and Arabic music theories at the “University of Haifa” and at "Maqamat, School of Eastern Music". He is an oud soloist and music director of the "Arab Music Orchestra of Nazareth". He released two albums of his musical compositions by "Watar Ensemble" and soon he will release his third album of his music & performance. He won the Second place in the International Oud Competition via the “Arab Music Festival and Congress” at Cairo Opera House in 2003. He won the first place in Marcel Khalife National Music Competition in 2014. Wassim has performed in many important festivals worldwide.
