In February 2023, at Walt Disney Hall, Classical piano superstar Yuja Wang joined forces with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a sold-out and critically-acclaimed Rachmaninoff residency. All four of Rachmaninoff’s piano concertos and his Paganini Rhapsody were captured by Deutsche Grammophon.

I've never heard any Rachmaninov like this !
My impression may be funny but she's walking and talking in the changing landscapes, mountains, on the sea, meadow, rain, snow, sunny day, ...
But talking to whom ?
To us, to Rachmaninov, to herself, or to the heaven ?
Not Romantic nor Russian !
Eastern thought ? common to Das Lied von der Erde ??
Assertive but never against the nature !
Dudamel best in these years, dry but so eloquent, well wrapping her, many notes there I didn't notice !
Time for him to spice up his life !!

Just seen her do the Rhapsody at the Proms.
Her hands are so fast they were blurred even in HD!
Just played No.2 and agree with Olga its not romantic and its not Russian.
I don't know what it is, Olga may be right........
