Matthew Puffett aka Future Beat Alliance launches a new album concept titled "Lower The Anchor”, Having spent the last twenty-five years producing under the FBA moniker, this will be the first time Matthew has released under his birth name.
Having been a pivotal player in the early days of the British Techno scene, Matt has continued to release music to critical acclaim. Having experimented with ambient and soundtrack work on recent FBA releases, "Lower The Anchor" sees this side of Matt’s production work come to the forefront for the first time.
“Lower The Anchor” is a collection of orchestral soundscapes, drawing inspiration from the moving picture & and contemporary classical, leaning heavily on sci-fi aesthetics, the closing track “Mainland” features the Berlin artist David Nicholson on acoustic guitar.
