Charly García - Parte De La Religion (Reissue) (1987/2003)

Part of Religion is the fourth solo studio album by Argentine musician Charly García. It was produced by García along with Joe Blaney and was released in 1987 by the Columbia and Sony Music record companies. It is considered by specialized critics as one of the most neat and compact albums in the musician's career, from the cover to the content of the lyrics.[citation needed] This album featured some of García's most recognized and listened to songs. , such as I pray for you and Looking for a symbol of peace. Other outstanding singles by him are Rap de las hormigas, No voy en tren and La ruta del temperpié (the latter is the song that completes the album).

In the live performances of Parte de la Religión, which had begun in July 1987, García's backing band was new, consisting of Carlos García "El Negro" López on guitar, Fernando Lupano on bass, Fernando Samalea ( who participated in the recording of the album) on drums, Fabián "Zorrito" Von Quintiero on keyboards, Alfi Martins on keyboards and Fabiana Cantilo (who also participated in the recording of the album) on backing vocals.
