MIAMI (August 11, 2022) – Gustavo Cerati's historic concert at the National Auditorium in Mexico City that took place on February 9, 2002 is available today and for the first time on all digital platforms.

The new album 14 EPISODIOS SINFÓNICOS / LIVE / AUDITORIO NACIONAL / MEXICO CITY / FEBRUARY 2002, is the recording with which the iconic Argentine artist began the presentation tour of the album 11 Episodios Sinfónicos (released in 2001), which took him through stages of six rooms (eight shows) from some of the main cities in Latin America.

As its title indicates, this album adds three new episodes not included in the repertoire of the original project (“LISA”, “FUE” and “HOMBRE AL AGUA”), classics by Soda Stereo and Gustavo's solo career, showing all his vocal talent in the style of a velvety crooner, accompanied by the Camerata de las Américas orchestra, with arrangements and direction by Alejandro Terán.

The spirit of this tour was the risky artistic proposal that the orchestral format implied, which at that time was not very common for the repertoire of a popular rock musician, much less as he is heard here: only with his voice, without the basis of a band.

Accompanying the release of the album, the Extended Reality Video of the track “Raíz (Sinfónico en Vivo)” also premieres today, August 11, the date on which the birth of the legendary Argentine artist is commemorated. The studio version of this song had been included in the album Bocanada, (published in 1999). The elements on which its current production was based rescue and reinterpret the original idea that Cerati and the director Andy Fogwill had at the time for the clip of the song that, for various reasons, could never be filmed in the end.

This innovative audiovisual content of “RAÍZ” is the successor to those of “LISA” and “CORAZÓN DELATOR”, which premiered as previews in June and July, respectively. Depending on the device they are viewed on, they provide the user with a different immersive experience: from a mobile, it is AR (augmented reality); from a computer, a 360º video; and with Oculus glasses, it's VR (virtual reality).
