Joe Malfs (I. Malförea), singer, songwriter, producer and music researcher. Founder of the Distintivo Blue project, he felt the need to produce music alone, with his influences, feeling, timbres and compositions that would not fit in a collective format. Thus, his super-restricted clan formed by himself and, very eventually, friends-collaborators, adopted the motto “do it yourself” as the guideline, producing as much as possible in a solitary way, at home, with the available equipment, which may include even domestic utensils and unusual sounds, frequently captured by the artist in his day-to-day life.

The songs are 100% organic, and without any commitment to market standards: "I don't make music for others, but for myself. If someone likes it, it's wonderful, but I don't care if most people listen and find it rude or bad Here is art in its natural state: as a form of expression, and I don't have time to waste with technical details that hinder that expression.
