The world's first SACD of the gem of Schubert recordings recorded from 1978 to 1981. This sound source is a combination of Blomstedt & Staatskapelle Dresden, from 1975 to 1980 Beethoven's complete symphonies (released in the second edition of this project 0301191BC) and Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 (released at the same time this time) 0301557BC), and it is still highly regarded as an exemplary performance among many recordings of Schubert's complete symphonies.
