Masterfully produced, brilliantly structured comedy funk album. In Jazz Emu's Digital Spool, you will go through an auditory journey with amazingly crispy sounding vocals and groovy instruments. You can't take the album too seriously because, well... it doesn't take itself seriously. Over all of the beautiful synths and bass lines creating harmonious and smooth soundwaves across your ears are sometimes comedic, sometimes serious, and sometimes a bit-of-both lyrics.

The album begins with a comedic and oddly sonically pleasing introduction in "Prologue" serving the same purpose as glue70's "Convey Your Thought". The very next track ("Still Waiting) is one of the catchiest and grooviest songs that will ever hit your eardrums with a hilarious accompanying music video that meets the same level of quality as the songs' production. As the album bounces between semi-serious lyrics, you will find moments of refuge from the funk style and comedic lyrics in "Hummingbird", a pleasant break with a splendorous piano and melody, with honestly beautiful lyrics.

The entire album is certainly worth a listen with its masterfully mixed audio and several laughs to be had as you get your funk on!
