Nomad's Requiem is the staggering new album from 4T Thieves.
4T Thieves (Real name Nik) runs the long-established net label Kahvi Collective. Founded in 1997, the label strives to release cutting edge electronica for no cost.
WFR owes a debt to Nik - he agreed to release Dohnavùr's first album on Kahvi when no one knew who we were. It was also how we came into contact with Steven Anderson (Letters From Mouse), who was integral to setting us on the path we are on now.
So it feels right and proper that we circle round to January 2023, and we are in the position to release Nomad's Requiem on the SubClub.
The album is borderline genius. Nik's love of alternative electronica and IDM puts him in a well-qualified position to know what sounds good to his ears, and have the skill and execution to pull it off. The overall sound is lush throughout, and Nik's rhythm-centric production ethics make for an exciting listen.
