Miller Anderson is a highly respected musician who came to major prominence as vocalist and guitarist with Keef Hartley Band upon their formation in 1968. Signing to Decca’s Deram label, the band recorded a series of albums which embraced, jazz, blues and rock influences and enjoyed success as one of the great British bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Following the release of the album ‘Overdog’ in the Spring of 1971, Miller embarked on recording his first solo album, ‘Bright City’. The album would see Anderson embrace folk influences alongside the more familiar styles associated with his work as part of the Hartley band. The result was a fine and inspiring record.
