Giovanni Ghizzani - incommensurabilmente (2023)

The passionate witness of one's life journey, this is the music of Giovanni Ghizzani. In five pieces, the Tuscan pianist explains his origins as a musician and the essence of himself as a human being.

Meditation as a tool of knowledge, a tribute to the father, past relationships that still resonate today and a nod to his adopted Barcelona are the leitmotif of "Immeasurably".
In this EP Ghizzani proposes a genuinely Italian menu: emotion and passion flooded with an air of nostalgia for his native Poggibonsi.

In July 2022 Giovanni traveled to Cento accompanied by Héctor Tejedo (double bass) and Ancor Miranda (drums) to capture these very personal compositions that navigate between contemporary jazz and the most melodic classicism.
