VA - City Pop: Sony Music Edition (2003)

WMJ, Columbia, BMG, and SMDR are jointly planning a "Japanese City Pop" compilation. A collection of songs from the heyday of city pop around 1980. The jacket is designed by Tatsuro Yamashita, and the illustration by Hideto Suzuki, who is familiar with the cover of "FM Station", etc., is planned. Song selection and supervision is Mr. Yutaka Kimura, who supervised the disc guide "JAPANESE CITY POP" (Shinko Music).
