Thomas Sejthen Trio - This Is Our Year (2023)

The Thomas Sejthen trio was formed in 2016 under the name Search for Peace and specializes in a minimalist expression and intense interplay. In this context, the trio mainly plays compositions by the Kapellmeister, but also interpretations by other artists. The music is a mixture of inspiration from e.g. Thelonius Monk's quirky universe and the traditional trio sound to modern thoughtful ballads, where calm and melancholic timbres merge into one, all played with presence and nerve.
