Carl Baugher - The Transparent Mirror (2022)

Whether or not something is transparent or opaque depends largely on perspective. In the case of my music, the point is often moot. But the idea behind the title was to call attention to the seemingly incongruous, inherent contradictions between disparate elements. In the case of this music, the elements are both instrumental as well as conceptual. The Transparent Mirror is not exactly what it seems it is both a mirror and a window at the same time.
