The Spanish baroque ensemble Forma Antiqva rescues forgotten masterpieces. Conductor and artistic director Aarón Zapico opens the musical treasure trove in the archives of Oviedo Cathedral and presents to the world spanish gems of the 17th century. Every single work is a premiere recording, to be discovered are six vocal pieces by Joaquín Lázaro (1746-1786) - these love arias about the highest, divine love awaken the Soprano Jone Martínez to new life - and two anonymous instrumental pieces as well as a violin concerto.
