Daniil Trifonov, the great Russian virtuoso, is perhaps best known for his astounding skills as a solo pianist. But deep in his heart lies a passionate love of chamber music, ignited by unique collaborations with close friends during his summer residencies at the Verbier Festival. This release features two iconic trios from independent areas of the repertoire. First, Trifonov is joined by violinist Ilya Gringolts and cellist Truls Mørk for a stunning rendition of Beethoven's 'Ghost Trio'. This performance is beautifully paired with Bedřich Smetana's G minor Piano Trio, brilliantly played by fellow superstars Leonidas Kavakos and Gautier Capuçon.

Recorded in 2015 (Beethoven) and in 2016 (Smetana), probably.
They need more performances for ensemble :p
Thanks
