The songs here come from rock & rollers like Fats Domino ("Blueberry Hill"), rockabilly cats like Ricky Nelson ("I'm Walkin'"), R&B artists like Mickey & Sylvia ("Love Is Strange"), doo wop groups like the Diamonds ("Little Darlin'") and the Del Vikings ("Whispering Bells"), and even a few country crooners like George Hamilton IV ("High School Romance"). Most of the songs are mainstream pop from artists like Tab Hunter, Debbie Reynolds, Gale Storm, and Patti Page, however, which may limit the disc's appeal to fans of rock & roll.
