Amanda Bergman - Docks (2016)

Swedish artist Amanda Bergman released her debut EP in 2010 under the name Idiot Wind and quickly received attention from both Swedish and international press. Soon after the release of the EP, Amanda joined fellow Swedes First Aid Kit and The Tallest Man on Earth on tour across the globe, and in 2012, Amanda started Swedish band Amason alongside Pontus Winnberg (Miike Snow) and Gustav Ejstes (Dungen). Amason quickly became one of Sweden's most celebrated bands, receiving praise both in Sweden and internationally. Despite Amason's busy schedule, Amanda kept writing and recording on her own, and in late 2015 she finished the last touches on what would soon become her first full length solo album Docks, an album that even before its release has been dubbed one of 2016's most important album releases by several Swedish music journalist heavy-weights.
