“Over the past 25 years, I have composed a lot of musical pieces, some of which are still close to my heart. This solo piano album contains some of my favourites. As rhythm plays a key role in my play and I like using the lower and middle registers of the piano, we tried to create a more bass-oriented sound that suits my style. Another reason why this record is special is that this time there is more emphasis on compositions than on improvisations. Not only does this compilation mark the end of my fairly long first creative period, but it also opens a new chapter in my career.” (Zsolt Kaltenecker)
