HKE lit a fire in 2018 that led to alchemically altering the entire network of underground music from that moment, pushing into inspiration the likes of 100 Gecs, who are noted fans of HKE, and the new emerging Hyperpop movement that has dominated the 20’s so far, even deeply inspiring Kanye West at one point with his “Dragon Energy”.

A NU MYSTIC TRAJECTORY is an album in the classic sense — a collection of absolute choonz to savour — bringing the best of the last three years together from a schizophrenic network of disbanded pseudonyms, along with some brand new heaters that together kindle a raging inferno — a divine proof that nu alternative music in the 2020s doesn’t have to be self-defeating, self-hating, suicidal liberal bullshit; doesn’t have to be backwards-dreaming conservative meditations on what once was a long ago, but can instead assert a passionate, fiery and spiritual vision that looks fowards to THE FUTURE - to the future, alive and radiating with a sort of trepidatious but electric optimism.
