Voici une captation sur le vif du concert donné par Josep Colom à la Fondation Juan March le 10 octobre 2018 à Madrid. Conçu pour provoquer une écoute différente et novatrice, ce programme enchaîne des mouvements et des morceaux isolés pour constituer un tout homogène et sans césures qui révèle des analogies cachées entre Schubert et sept compositeurs, à savoir Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms et Schoenberg. En outre, Josep Colom reprend à son compte une tradition interprétative aujourd'hui oubliée, mais couramment utilisée autrefois : l'improvisation opérant le lien entre les œuvres écrites. De brefs intermèdes mènent en douceur l'auditeur d'une composition à l'autre, finissant par créer une sorte de continuum sonore.
