J.D. Souther - Rain: Live at the Belcourt Theatre (2009)

John David Souther (born November 2, 1945) is an American singer-songwriter and actor, as well as a multi instrumentalist. Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2013. He is a well known country rock performer, writer and co-writer of hit songs for other artists, most famously Linda Ronstadt and association of the Eagles band.
While J.D. Souther may have made his biggest impact on the country-rock sound behind the scenes or in a supporting role to some of the bigger pop names of the '70s, he had an impressive and critically acclaimed series of solo albums that have unfortunately all but disappeared from music fans' radar.
